Hyaluronic acid is the body’s innate volumizer, actively cushioning the cells and helping them to retain moisture. As we age, this vital substance gradually depletes, leaving our skin flattened, sagging, wrinkled, and dull.  At Skin Renaissance we have chosen to only use the Hyaluronic Acid fillers from the Juvederm family. This was a conscious decision on the part of our owner, Julie Foster, RN for two reasons. First, any filler made with Hyaluronic Acid can be reversed. Simply meaning that if you have a reaction to the HA filler (extremely rare), we can easily dissolve it without the expense and risks of plastic surgery. Secondly, some of the non-hyaluronic acid fillers have some serious and significant long-term complications, some occurring years after the filler has naturally dissolved.  Safety first.
